MEMORANDUM FOR: Charitable Federations/Agencies Applying for Participation in the 2011 San Antonio Area Combined Federal Campaign.

The application period for the 2011 CFC is closed.


 1. We are accepting applications during the period February 28 to March 28 from charitable federations and agencies interested in applying for the 2011 San Antonio Area Combined Federal Campaign. The campaign runs in the fall from September 1 through December 15, 2011.

2. Download the appropriate application package in either Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. Put your application together in the sequence outlined in the application form. The packages also include separators for the attachments. If necessary, a copy of the application package can be sent or e-mailed to you upon request.

3. Mail or hand carry applications, with original signature, to the address below no later than 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2011.

4. Federations like the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County and Community Health Charities of Texas are to use the Local Federation application. Unaffiliated agencies, and member agencies that belong to a federation, must use the Local Independent Organization and Members of Federations application. (Note: Federations must submit a complete application for themselves and for any member agency or agencies applying under that federation for the first time.) Family support and Youth Activities must use the FSYA application. Applications received incomplete or after the deadline will be denied.

5. The CFC Office may request additional information deemed necessary to complete the eligibility review. Federations, please note that we may sample one or more of your member agency applications. You will be notified which application(s) to submit.
